WG21 Meeting Fund
The C++ Alliance is proud to support the WG21 standards process by funding the operational costs of hosting ISO C++ meetings. Every meeting requires significant investment in venue, logistics, and setup, and your company can be part of making that happen.

How do I contribute?
Email wg21@cppalliance.org and we will send you wiring instructions. Contributions can be made by ACH, wire transfer, or check payable to The C++ Alliance, Inc.
Is there a minimum contribution amount?
There is no minimum. Every contribution helps and is appreciated.
Is my contribution tax-deductible?
Yes. The C++ Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We will provide a written gift acknowledgment upon receipt of your contribution.
Where do the funds go?
All contributions are held in a dedicated WG21 Meeting Fund and used exclusively to cover the operational costs of hosting ISO C++ meetings: venue rental, logistics, scheduled meals, and ground transportation for attendees.
Who decides how funds are distributed?
The Fiscal Sponsorship Committee, currently chaired by Ville Voutilainen, reviews and approves reimbursement requests from meeting hosts and forwards them to the Alliance for payment.
How do I know the funds are being used properly?
The C++ Alliance is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit subject to IRS reporting requirements. The fund is held in a dedicated sub-account with segregated bookkeeping, and disbursements are approved by the Fiscal Sponsorship Committee before the Alliance processes any payment.
How much goes to each meeting?
Each January, a per-meeting allocation is calculated from the prior year-end fund balance, divided equally across the three WG21 meetings held that calendar year.
Can my company be listed as a contributor?
Yes. All contributors are listed on this page with their name and contribution amount.
